Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy from madmire.shop. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them together with my Refund policy, Shipping policy and Privacy policy.

Madmire is my atelier in Kyiv, Ukraine. I'm Marta, and I design and sew every piece by hand.

Made to order

Every piece is sewn after you order, just for you. Each product page says whether the piece is made to your measurements or sewn in the size you choose. Plus sizes cost the same.

For a made-to-measure piece, you send me your measurements after ordering, using my measuring guide. I sew to the measurements you send, so please take them carefully. If you're unsure about a number, message me before you send it and we'll check it together.

Because every piece is handmade, small differences from the photos in stitching, drape or shade are part of the work, not a fault. Colors can also look slightly different on your screen.

Orders and prices

Prices are in US dollars and are the prices you pay for the piece. Shipping is free.

Your order is confirmed when you receive my order confirmation email. If I can't make a piece you ordered, I'll tell you and refund you in full.

For orders shipped to a US address, import duties are included in the price. For all other destinations, import duties and taxes are paid by you on delivery.

Timing

The production time is shown on each product page, and delivery takes about 7–14 days after your piece is ready. These times are estimates, not guaranteed dates. If you need your piece by a certain date, message me before you order and I'll tell you honestly whether I can make it.

If I can't ship your piece within the time shown on its product page, I'll let you know, and you can cancel for a full refund.

Cancellations and returns

You can cancel within 48 hours of placing your order for a full refund. After that, I've usually started cutting your fabric.

If your piece arrives damaged, if I sent the wrong item, color or size, or if it isn't sewn to the measurements you sent me, I'll repair it, remake it or refund you in full. The details, including the rules for buyers in the EU and the UK, are in my Refund policy.

Your photos and reviews

If you send me reference photos or ideas for your piece, I use them only to make your order.

If you leave a review, with or without photos, you allow me to show it on madmire.shop. I read reviews before they are published and may decline ones that are offensive, off-topic or not about a real purchase. I never edit what you wrote.

Liability

I'm responsible for making your piece well and delivering it as described. Apart from that, my liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the consumer law of the country where you live.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. If you buy as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
