Odette

A bias-cut satin slip wedding dress in a mermaid line, with a deep V-neckline, fine adjustable straps and an open low back. Over it goes a detachable cape of sheer chiffon edged with soft natural ostrich feathers. The gown itself is clean and unembellished, so the cape is the statement. I sew every dress to order in my atelier in Kyiv.

Wear the feather cape for the ceremony and your photos, then slip it off for a clean satin slip at the reception. The bias cut lets the satin follow your body with a liquid sheen.

Care

Keep the feathers dry and don't wash the cape; a gentle shake or cool air brings back their fluff. Hand wash the satin slip in cool water with a mild detergent for up to 10 minutes, without rubbing or wringing, or have it dry cleaned. Hang to dry away from direct sun and iron the satin through a cloth on low heat, away from the feathers. Store on a padded hanger without crushing the feathers.
