Elise

A satin pencil wedding dress with a boned corset bodice, off-shoulder satin cuffs and a lace-up back. The slim skirt is hand-pleated and draped diagonally to one hip, with a high side slit. A cathedral train attaches at the back hip and comes off for a clean pencil line. I sew every dress to order in my atelier in Kyiv.

With the train on, the satin sweeps behind you down the aisle; take it off and the slim skirt and slit leave room to move at the reception.

Care

Professional dry cleaning only for this heavy satin. Steam on a low setting through a clean cotton cloth instead of ironing directly. Store on a padded hanger in a garment bag, away from direct sun, and spot-test any cleaning agent on an inside seam allowance first.
