Short Satin Bridal Robe with Ostrich Feather Cuffs

A short satin bridal robe for getting ready: a V-neck wrap front, a self-tie satin belt and puffed three-quarter sleeves finished with fluffy ostrich-feather cuffs. It sits above the knee and is light enough to slip on over lingerie. I sew every robe to order in my atelier in Kyiv.

Care

Keep the feathers dry: don't machine wash or soak the cuffs. Spot-clean the satin with a damp cloth and mild detergent, or have the whole robe dry cleaned. Fluff the feathers with a gentle shake or cool air from a hairdryer, and iron the satin through a cloth on low heat, well away from them. Store on a padded hanger out of direct sun, without crushing the cuffs.
