A strapless ball gown wedding dress in bridal satin. The boned corset bodice dips to a V at the front basque waist, the back laces up, and the deeply gathered skirt sits over a soft tulle petticoat sewn inside. I sew every dress to order in my atelier in Kyiv.

• Silhouette: ball gown with a cathedral train
• Neckline: strapless, straight
• Bodice: boned satin corset with a basque waist that dips to a V at the front
• Back: satin lace-up with an internal hook-and-eye band
• Skirt: full and deeply gathered, over a soft stiffened tulle petticoat sewn inside
• Train: cathedral length, spreading into a wide half-circle
• Fabric: bridal satin

The sewn-in petticoat holds the volume of the skirt, and the train spreads into a wide half-circle behind you on the way down the aisle.

Care

Professional dry cleaning is best. You can also hand wash it gently in cool water with a mild detergent for up to 10 minutes, without wringing. Hang to dry in the shade, away from direct sun, and iron through a cloth on low heat.
