A satin A-line wedding dress with a strapless boned corset and an open lace-up back. The corset meets the full skirt at a pointed basque waist, and an optional bow snaps on at the front. I sew every dress to order in my atelier in Kyiv.

• Silhouette: A-line, floor length
• Neckline: strapless, straight cut, with a folded top edge
• Bodice: hand-built boned corset with visible structural seams; basque waist with a pointed front
• Back: open lace-up corset back
• Skirt and train: full satin skirt with a sweeping train
• Fabric: smooth bridal satin
• Detachable: front bow at the waist, snaps on and off

The lacing adjusts the corset for a close, secure fit and makes the open back the dramatic detail of the dress. Wear the bow for the ceremony and snap it off for a cleaner line later.

Care

Professional dry cleaning is recommended to keep the satin's sheen. Don't machine wash, and don't iron the satin directly; steam it to release creases. Store it hanging in a garment bag, away from sunlight and humidity.
