Basque waist wedding dresses, sewn to your measurements
A basque waist is a corset waistline that dips into a V or a point below your natural waist before the skirt begins. It lengthens the bodice and makes the waist look smaller, and it only works when the corset fits exactly, so I sew each dress to your measurements and check them with you before I cut the fabric.
Satin, lace and two-piece basque dresses
Vivienne is a strapless satin A-line with a pointed basque waist and an open lace-up back, and Monika is a drop waist satin A-line with a full gathered skirt and a separate satin cape. Estelle and Flora are two-piece dresses: Estelle has a lace-appliqué corset with a V-point waist over a liquid satin skirt, and Flora a beaded corset over a chiffon skirt. All four are among my wedding dresses under $1,000. For more boned bodices, see my corset wedding dresses.
Each dress is sewn to order (the production time is on its page).
