Satin wedding dresses, sewn to your measurements
Satin is the fabric I sew most: it shapes a clean line, holds a corset well and catches the light in every photo. Every satin wedding dress here is cut to your measurements, plus sizes included, up to 6XL (US 20), and I check them with you before I cut the fabric.
Which satin wedding gown suits you
- Plain satin: Amarelle, Valentina, Vivienne and Anna have no lace and no beading, only the cut and the sheen. More in my minimalist wedding dresses.
- Satin with handwork: Celeste has Lunéville embroidery of leaves down the bodice, Estelle a Chantilly lace corset over a satin skirt, Florentia chiffon 3D flowers along the neckline, and Plume a satin corset with an ostrich feather skirt.
- Slip and mermaid: Sirena is a satin slip wedding dress with spaghetti straps and an open back, Odette a bias-cut satin slip under a detachable chiffon cape edged with ostrich feathers, and Anna a mermaid with a cowl neck. See all my mermaid wedding dresses.
- Sleeves: Anna has fitted long sleeves and Audrey is a long sleeve satin mini. On Amarelle and Aurelia the sleeves come off.
- A cape or a train: Pearl and Monika come with a satin cape you can take off, and Elise with a detachable cathedral train. More in my convertible wedding dresses.
Questions brides ask me about satin
What is the satin made of?
My bridal satins come in several weights, and some have a little stretch so they follow the figure. Florentia and Elise are sewn from mikado, a heavier, structured satin. Each product page names its fabric.
Milk or ivory?
Almost every satin dress here comes in both. Milk is a soft warm white, ivory a deeper buttery cream.
How do I care for a satin dress?
Care is on each product page. For many of my satin dresses I recommend dry cleaning to keep the sheen; the others can be hand washed in cool water with a mild detergent.
